Speaking to NDTV, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that coronavirus screening was started in January and that the borders were shut for safety purpose. He further added that 147 quarantine centres are there in the state at the moment but a there is still a big worry as a huge number of people will go back to Manipur from Red Zone areas like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
