West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be in Purshura in Bengal's Hooghly district, about one hour from Singur, where she had held a massive agitation. The Singur and Nandigram agitations had catapulted the Trinamool Congress to power, but the BJP has made significant inroads in Hooghly district. Ms Banerjee has been focusing on areas where her party suffered in the Lok Sabha election and will address a massive rally in Purshura in Hooghly today.
