The case of eight former Navy personnel - sentenced to death by Qatar in October - was raised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday, when he met Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on the side-lines of COP28 climate summit in Dubai. Following the PM's meeting with the Qatar ruler, the Indian Ambassador to that country met the prisoners, NDTV has learned.
