Human Rights Body Invites Complaints On Bengal Violence

A National Human Rights Commission team is in Bengal, ordered by the Calcutta High Court to probe allegations of post poll violence. No comments by Mamata Banerjee on their visit. But she accused the BJP of bringing people from districts to Kolkata and tutoring them to make false complaints to NHRC which held a hearing on Monday. The BJP is stage-managing things, she said. But at some BJP shelters for alleged victims of post poll violence, NHRC has brought a ray of hope.
