Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday cast his vote at a polling booth in Mumbai. CM Shinde said, "I want to appeal to the people that it is the festival of democracy. It is the duty of everyone to vote. Our vote can change the country, take it towards development and progress. I can see the atmosphere, people are eager to make Narendra Modi, Prime Minister again so they are coming out in huge numbers to vote. In such a hot weather, people are coming out to voting. Mahayuti will win all the seats in this 5th phase."
