12 Lakh Eligible For Precautionary Dose In Assam

Assam is going to launch the precautionary vaccine dose from today. The state-level launching of the third dose for 60+ and frontline workers will be done by Health Minister Shri Keshab Mahanta at Jorhat Medical College at 11 am. However, the biggest vaccine camp in the state would be at Guwahati Medical College. According to government data, Assam has 5.77 lakh co-morbid population in 60+ age group, 2.18 healthcare workers and 4.43 lakh frontline workers eligible for this precautionary dose.
