As Girls' Marriage Age To Be Raised, Voices Of Those Who Escaped Child Marriage

22-year-old Chota Chaudhary is now preparing for Rajasthan government's services exam. She was married off when she was just 14. After an uphill legal battle, she got her child marriage annulled in March this year. Without the support of her parents who were worried they would be socially ostracised, it has been a long and lonely battle for Ms Choudhury. Describing her ordeal, she says she is happy with the government's decision to raise the age for marriage.
