Substandard Collars, Maggots Killing Kuno Cheetahs?

After eight African cheetahs died in Kuno in less than eight months, images of their radio collars, and maggots beneath them have surfaced, with various experts saying that the radio collars may have been the reason for the recent deaths since the Indian climate and humidity may have caused chafing, subsequent infection and possible septicaemia. But are radio collars singularly to blame for the high mortality rate that the project is seeing?
