Bengal Governor Meets Family Of Malda Labourers Killed In Mizoram Rail Bridge Collapse

West Bengal Governor Dr CV Ananda Bose visited families of migrant labourers who died in Mizoram when an under-construction railway bridge collapsed. Bengal has a huge population of migrant labourers and according to a list shared by the BJP's Leader of Opposition in the state, Suvendu Adhikari, 23 of those killed are from Malda and surrounding areas. One village has lost 11 residents in the tragedy and a family has lost six members, he said.
