Within days of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma holding a second round of talks with his Meghalaya counterpart, Conrad Sangma, to resolve border disputes in the remaining six out of 12 areas of differences, resistance is brewing in the Meghalaya leader's home turf - Garo hills region. A group of Garo hills organisations have started to protests against the border pact between the two states.
