First Anniversary Of The Indian Air Force's Balakot Strike

Exactly a year back, in response to the Pulwama terror attack, the Indian Air Force attacked the Jaish-e-Mohammad camp in Balakot, Pakistan. This was the first time since the 1971 war that the Indian Air Force hit targets deep inside Pakistan. Today, the Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria flew a sortie on a MiG 21 Bison fighter in Srinagar with the pilots involved in the Balakot mission and the air defence mission the day after when the IAF responded to a Pakistan Air Force counter attack.
