When asked if he believed that the Congress had botched up as far as the defamation case against Rahul Gandhi was concerned, Chhattisgarh Minister TS Singh Deo said the BJP, centre and the parliment were in a daring hurry to disqualify Mr Gandhi. He said there was no merit to the judgment by the Surat court given that Mr Gandhi did not say anything against the Other Backward Classes (OBC), but referred to people who have fled India after committing financial fraud.
