China Launches Fresh Military Drills Around Taiwan
China has launched large-scale military drills around Taiwan amid rising regional tensions, issuing a warning to what it calls "external forces." The exercises, part of "Justice Mission 2025," involve warships, fighter jets, troops and live-fire drills. Taiwan has condemned the move and placed its forces on high alert. This marks the sixth major Chinese military drill around Taiwan since 2022.
