The family pleaded with the administration to let them take the body home. A desperate mother sat on the road, in front of the ambulance crying, begging the cops to allow her to take the body home. But the police forced its way through the cremation. India's daughter was denied a final visit home. On Left, Right and Centre, we ask: who and what is the UP government trying to protect?
