USHA has collaborated with Rourkela Steel Plant to teach sewing to economically backward tribal women through the NGO Gram Utthan. The Rourkela Steel Plant has so far helped more than 100 women from 40 different villages to become self-sufficient and currently, the organisation is focusing on women living in the four block villages that are located within a 45-50 km radius of the plant.
