Vijay Shekhar Sharma, whose Paytm was one of the six Unicorns named NDTV's Indian of the Year, made an impassioned plea for net neutrality at the event. "We are not Third World in the digital world," said Mr Sharma, who has campaigned against Facebook's Free Basics programme. "We can't have people deciding what this country will see... we can't let those who ruled us rule us again in a digital world... and I can't believe this country will let this happen." Disclosure: Paytm's parent company One97 is an investor in Gadgets 360.
