Kersi Dubash, Chairman of Shri Sai Trust, donated an amount of Rs 1 lakh at the NDTV-Tata-Sky #IndiaForKerala telethon. Accompanying Mr Dubash was Mohammed Asif, Director of Programme Implementation at Plan India. Mr Asif said that Plan India was on ground and was working towards mitigating some of the challenges that Kerala was facing post floods. Non-food items are one of the major needs in Kerala, and Plan India was focusing on providing people with things that can help them with education and personal hygiene.
