In Flood-Hit Panthanamthitta, Schools To Re-Open Soon

In Panthanamthitta, a school has been turned into a shelter for victims of the flood. M.K Gopi, Deputy Director of Education in Panthanamthitta said that he expected schools in the district to reopen on August 29 and is hopeful that all the children will come back to school. Mr Gopi said that certain arrangements have been made to normalise the atmosphere for children. Shanthamma P.A, district education officer said that she was expecting all the students to get back to their normal school routine. The children, many of whom lost their homes, are in need of support from all sections to rebuild their lives. Donate now for Kerala flood relief.
