In a fresh twist to the alleged plot to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, accused Nikhil Gupta's family has moved the Supreme Court seeking intervention and immediate relief. The US Justice Department has accused Mr Gupta, an Indian, of conspiring to assassinate Pannun, a Canadian-American. The Supreme Court has adjourned the matter till January 4.
