Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting with all Chief Ministers to discuss the upsurge in coronavirus cases in several states. New restrictions have been imposed in Maharashtra as coronavirus cases surged. Capacity in restaurants and movie halls has been reduced to 50 per cent and not more than 50 guests are permitted at weddings. The new restrictions are to stay in place till March 31.
