Air Emergency: Visible Smog, Invisible Cities

A day after Diwali, pollution in Delhi-NCR region peaked, and has become a major concern with each passing year. According to a survey, 4 in 5 families in Delhi-NCR have someone who is now experiencing ailments due to polluted air and 22 per cent citizens say they or someone in their family have already visited a doctor or a hospital regarding air pollution-related ailments. Many doctors and hospitals in the city have also started reporting a higher number of cases of patients with breathing difficulties. On FYI today, we decode the severity of India's Air Emergency and ask experts about the rectifying measures that need to be taken.
