According to Dr Amit Sen, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Director and Co-Founder of Children First, a Delhi based child and adolescent mental health service, imposing rules and boundaries from the top to restrict screen time may not work, especially with older children as they are going to rebel given they may already be anguished. So, the best thing to do is to sit down with your children and see how they are using their screen time, he says.
