Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) reported that 553 Indian citizens entered India via the Panitanki border crossing with Nepal amid ongoing unrest in the Himalayan nation. The Sonauli India-Nepal border has been reopened after being closed for four to five days. Authorities have allowed only trucks carrying essential goods to cross. During the closure, hundreds of truck drivers remained stranded at the border, leading to the spoilage of perishable items such as onions and raw materials. Some drivers expressed concerns about entering Nepal, stating that the situation there still feels unsafe and poses risks to their lives and vehicle.
