Nepal Floods | 'No Brother Wants To See This': Emotional Raksha Bandhan In Flood-Hit Nepal
On Raksha Bandhan, a Nepal flood survivor was joined by her brother, who came to help search through the debris of her devastated home for whatever valuable belongings could still be recovered. Speaking to NDTV, the brother said they had never imagined the floods would cause such massive destruction. He recalled that his sister was alone when the flood hit and said no brother would ever want to see his sister in such a condition. The emotional reunion came with a painful wish - that no brother should ever have to visit his sister's home in such circumstances on Raksha Bandhan.
