Nepal Floods Latest News: Bodies Recovered Daily From Narayani River | NDTV Ground Report
The search for victims of Nepal’s devastating flash floods continues along the Narayani River in Bharatpur district. Two more bodies were recovered by the Nepali Police, taking the total number of bodies recovered from the river to 357, according to police. Rescue teams are using boats, sniffer dogs and drones to search the river for more victims. The recovered bodies are taken to a mortuary for DNA testing and identification before being temporarily buried. More than 330 bodies have already been temporarily buried in Bharatpur, while families continue to await identification and confirmation.
