Nepal Floods: Kathmandu Monastery Shelters Over 300 Rasuwa Disaster Victims And Families

Kathmandu’s biggest monastery in the city has become a shelter for more than 300 victims and families from Rasuwa District who have been displaced and left without homes. In a walkabout with Head Volunteer Cherin, we see how the monastery has been transformed into an organised and carefully planned shelter for those affected. Children at the shelter are receiving counselling, while a dedicated play area helps keep them engaged and supported. The monastery also has a dispensary and other facilities, with young Nepalese volunteers working together to care for the displaced families.
