Nepal Floods: 100 Children Rescued As Rasuwa School Becomes A Shelter Home
After a night of heavy rain, NDTV reports from Rasuwa, one of the worst-hit areas of Nepal's devastating floods. The Bhotekoshi River has widened and turned fierce, burying parts of Bhadravati Bazaar under mud and silt. A local school has become a shelter for around 100 rescued children, some of whom have lost parents or are waiting for missing family members. NDTV also reaches the Nepal-China border, bringing exclusive pictures of the devastated Timur Bazaar.
