Nepal Avalanche: 12 Missing, 2 Dead As Rescue Teams Search Mount Himlung
Rescue teams are searching Mount Himlung in Nepal for 12 people swept away by an avalanche that killed at least two others during severe weather. Ten people were rescued after the avalanche struck the 7,126-metre mountain on Sunday. All those killed or missing were Nepali nationals. The avalanche hit as they were at a base camp preparing for foreign climbers arriving for the Autumn climbing season.
