Ahead of the NEET re-examination, authorities in Chennai have implemented a three-tier security system across exam centres to ensure a smooth and secure process. Traffic police have been deployed outside centres to manage movement, while strict frisking and identity verification will be conducted at entry points. Inside the centres, police personnel will oversee arrangements and announcements to maintain order. Students have been advised to carry only their hall ticket and valid ID proof, as all electronic devices, books and other prohibited items are strictly banned.
