Nearly 23 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET re-exam on Saturday from 2 pm to 5:15 pm, amid lingering concerns over the earlier paper leak. Speaking to NDTV, parents said students remain demoralised and distrustful of the system, arguing that enhanced security measures fail to address deeper institutional shortcomings.
