The NEET-UG 2026 re-examination is set to take place today under one of the most extensive security operations ever seen for a competitive exam in India. More than 22 lakh aspirants will appear across thousands of centres in 551 Indian cities and 14 international locations. Authorities have deployed over 2.5 lakh security personnel, introduced biometric verification, AI-based surveillance, GPS tracking of question papers and enhanced monitoring protocols. The National Testing Agency has assured candidates that the examination will be conducted in a transparent and secure manner, with zero tolerance for lapses.
