As students get ready for competitive exams scheduled on October 28 and 29, another hijab controversy has surfaced in Karnataka. Following in the footsteps of the NEET guidelines, the Congress government has allowed students to wear hijab while writing exams organised by the Karnataka Examination Authority. Right-wing groups, however, which have consistently raised the hijab issue in the past few years, have raised objections and threatened to make this into a massive controversy.
