NCTC meet ends without consensus; need anti-terror body, says Chidambaram

Some tough talk and more than six hours of heated deliberations later, the Centre's ambitious National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) continues to remain a non-starter. A crucial meeting in the national capital today, attended by chief ministers of states that also had Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in attendance, failed to arrive at a consensus over the contentious anti-terror body.
