"Moved Thousands Of Troops": S Jaishankar Explains Border Standoff With China

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar hailed the leadership of PM Modi saying that it took a leader like him to stand his ground during Chinese aggression. During an interaction with students in Vadodara, Mr Jaishankar said, "Some leaders have belief, they know how to stand their ground. When the Chinese came to LAC, we were in the middle of Covid. We moved thousands of troops in the middle of lockdown. How tough it was to move people during lockdown, but it took a Prime Minister like that."
