Monsoon Likely to Pick Up in July: IMD
DS Pai, director of long range forecast at the meteorological department, told NDTV that monsoon is likely to improve from the first week of July. Mr Pai clarified that the deficient rain fall seen so far is not due to the impact of El Nino.
