Tragic stories are emerging of people who boarded the doomed Malaysian Airlines flight that crashed in Ukraine Thursday. It includes regular folk from all walks of life, families on holiday, students heading to join new jobs, athletes, a delegation of scientists and activists attending an international AIDS conference in Melbourne and an Indian-origin flight attendant who was only on the ill-fated jet because he agreed to swap a shift with a colleague.
