Can an intercontinental flight, cruising at 33,000 feet above the ground, be affected by turmoil on the ground below? Well, MH17 is believed to have been shot down by an advanced Russian built surface-to-air missile system called the BUK which both Ukrainian and Russian forces own. Who actually fired at the passenger plane and whether they did so after mistaking it to be a military plane is unclear. (Video Courtesy: Russia Today, Sky News)
