Mumbai is on high alert as global football icon Lionel Messi arrives in the city as part of his India visit. Over 2,000 police personnel have been deployed around Wankhede Stadium and nearby venues, with multi-layer barricading, access control points, CCTV surveillance and traffic diversions in place. Messi is scheduled to attend the Padel GOAT Cup event at Brabourne Stadium from 3:30 pm, followed by a brief appearance at Wankhede Stadium for a star-studded programme involving the Maharashtra Chief Minister, celebrities and sports personalities.
