Man Drowns In River While Immersing Ganesha Idol, Saved By Cops
During the immersion of Lord Ganesha in Haldwani, a young man drowned in the Gola river but was saved by the Nainital water police with their bravery. Some people were immersing the idol in Chitrashila Ghat in Rani Bagh, during which a person got swept away in the strong current of the river. At the same time, Pratap Gadhiya, a water police jawan present on duty, took the person out of the river safely.
