As Ganesh Chaturthi approaches, artisans in Maharashtra's Pen town are working around the clock to meet surging demand for Lord Ganesha idols. Known for intricate designs and fine paintwork, Pen has around 700-800 idol-making workshops, with artisans claiming nearly 70 lakh idols have been crafted this year for buyers across India and overseas.
