Makara Jyoti Lights Up Sabarimala Amid Sea Of Devotees
The sacred Makara Jyoti was lit at Ponnambalamedu, marking one of the most significant moments of the Sabarimala pilgrimage season. Lakhs of devotees witnessed the divine sight as the hill shrine was enveloped in devotion. Thousands of pilgrims gathered at the Sannidhanam for darshan as the Deeparadhana was performed, with the Thiruvabharanam ceremoniously brought from the Pandalam Palace and the Makaravilakku lamp lit amid chants and prayers.
