Maharashtra News | Stone-Pelting Attack On Nagpur-CSMT Duronto Express, Three Coaches Damaged
A stone-pelting incident was reported on the Nagpur-Mumbai CSMT Duronto Express near Borkhedi in Maharashtra on September 25. The train, numbered 12290, was hit by a stone or other object at around 8:27 pm, damaging the window glasses of coaches A-1, B-2 and B-5. No passenger was injured. RPF and GRP personnel conducted searches in the Borkhedi-Sindhi section and nearby villages, but no suspicious person or concrete evidence was found. A case was registered against an unknown person under Section 153 of the Railway Act, and an investigation is underway to identify the exact location from where the object was thrown.
