The Shinde camp claims that up to seven of the nine Sena (UBT) MPs could join its fold. Amid the defection buzz, Uddhav Thackeray has reportedly reached out to party MPs, while some leaders remain unreachable. A key meeting of MPs is expected in New Delhi, followed by an MLAs' meeting on June 22. While Eknath Shinde has remained silent, his supporters insist that more leaders could eventually back his leadership, potentially strengthening the NDA's numbers in Parliament.
