Madrassas, Mosques Under Scan As J&K Police Seek Student Details
Jammu and Kashmir Police have expanded their profiling and outreach drive covering madrasas and mosques from the Kashmir Valley to the Jammu region. As part of the exercise, police are collecting details related to students and funding while holding meetings with clerics, ulema and students. Officials say the initiative focuses on awareness against drug abuse and radicalisation, urging religious leaders to promote patriotism alongside religious education.
