LPG Relief Arrives in India as Tankers Dock Amid Shortage Fears
Amid concerns over LPG shortages, India has begun receiving relief supplies with the arrival of the first of three Indian tankers carrying fuel. The government has assured that supplies remain stable, with refineries operating at full capacity and no major disruptions reported. Panic booking of LPG cylinders has eased after a temporary surge that even led to system slowdowns. India, which imports nearly 60% of its LPG-mostly via the Strait of Hormuz-is closely monitoring shipments, with more vessels, including MT Nanda Devi, expected to arrive soon.
