Life Jackets Now Mandatory For Shikaras In Kashmir

To ensure the safety of tourists, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has made 'lifesaving jackets' mandatory for shikaras in Dal and Nigeen lakes, besides other waterbodies in the Union territory. Thousands of tourists visit Kashmir from different parts of the world and prefer Dal and Nigeen lakes for Shikara rides.
