In the wake of the tragic Karur stampede that claimed 41 lives, DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi spoke to NDTV, emphasizing the need for compassion and support for the victims’ families over political blame games. She stated that all political events must adhere to safety regulations, regardless of party or leader. Responding to TVK's demand for a CBI probe, Kanimozhi highlighted that a retired judge has already begun an independent inquiry and assured that anyone found responsible will face action. She called for patience and unity during this period of mourning.
