India has reiterated that it is the Canadian government’s responsibility to ensure the security of Indian consulates, following threats issued by a Khalistani outfit. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed that security concerns were raised in bilateral talks between India’s NSA and Canada’s NSA during regular security consultations.
