Key Karnataka Cabinet Meet Today Over Congress Poll Promises
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will hold a key cabinet meeting today for the implementation of Congress' poll promises. Based on the presentations made by the officials, a final call will be taken today after discussing with the council of ministers. The Congress guarantees include a monthly grant of Rs 2,000 for the woman head of each household, a monthly grant of Rs 3,000 to each unemployed graduate, 200 units of free power to all households, free travel for women in state-run buses, and 10 kg of free rice per person in BPL families.
