Kerala CM Vijayan Faces Fresh Probe Over ED Allegations | Political Row Intensifies

A fresh political battle has erupted in Kerala after the state government constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to examine material shared by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the controversial monthly payment case. The allegations involve former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter Veena Vijayan, and former minister Mohammed Riyas. The ED has alleged payments from Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL) to Veena Vijayan's company Exalogic, with the transactions linked to alleged illegal gratification. These allegations have not been established by a court.
